Morgan Stanley Lose Private Client Hedge Fund Distribution Head

Former Morgan Stanley leading private client advisor Anne Marie Gagnon has left the US bank to join hedge fund Voyager Management. Ms Gagnon, who led Morgan Stanley’s efforts to build a hedge fund platform for its private client network, will head Voyager’s New York office. The former Morgan Stanley executive director also worked at JP Morgan as a portfolio manager responsible for developing products in the alternative investment area. Voyager, founded 10 years ago by Christopher Knight and Lyle Poncher, manages funds with a global long/short equity focus. The firm recently expanded its operations and opened offices in New York and Tokyo.
